What it is
Scallops presented in their half shells, with sweet, tender meat and a clean mild flavour. Each pack contains six scallops and weighs 320 grams.
How we handle it
They are packed frozen and kept solid in our freezer until purchase. Thaw them in the fridge for the most even cooking.
How to cook it
Bake or grill them in the shell with butter, garlic and breadcrumbs until the meat is just opaque. Avoid overcooking so the scallops stay tender. Seared Scallops with Brown Butter.
Good to know
The natural shells make each scallop easy to serve as an appetizer or part of a seafood platter. They go straight from cooking tray to table with very little preparation.
